Heather Burke is licensed massage therapist in St. Paul, MN and a certified massage therapist with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She has been actively practicing Therapeutic Massage since 2000.
She offers a wide variety of therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques that she customizes to address the specific needs of her clients.
Heather attended Peninsula College in Washington where she received over 1,000 hours of training. She received additional training in the Esalen Massage at the renowned Esalen Healing Arts Program in Big Sur, California; Lomi Lomi and Hot Stones Massage at the famed Ho'omana Spa in Maui, Hawaii; CranioSacral therapy training through the Heartwood Institute in Arizona; Ayurvedic Massage Training through the historic Niramayam Aryurvedic Hospital in Kerala India; Connective Tissue Massage training through Institute for Structural Integration; and Self Hypnosis through MN Institute of Advanced Communication. She is also trained in Abdominal Massage, Rolfing, Thai Massage, TCM Acupressure, Trigger Point Therapy, Healing Touch and Qigong Energy Healing. Heather also has training in yoga and often shares stretches to her clients as an adjunct to their therapy session.
Heather also employs micro-current therapy for additional relief to people suffering from chronic neuromuscular pain, arthritis, neuropathy, migraines, post surgical recovery, and work related injuries. She has trained extensively in the therapeutic applications of the Electro-Acuscope Myopulse Micro-current technology.
